Support my candidates for National Assembly or be kicked out- Tinubu

The National leader of the APC, Mr Bola Tinubu, has warned that any member of the upcoming 9th Senate, that belongs to the APC, must abide by the decision of the party, in selecting who becomes the next Senate President, and the leader of the House of representatives respectively, or be kicked out.

According to correspondents, Mr Tinubu disclosed this on Friday, during the marking of his 67th birthday in Lagos.

He said thus, Party discipline is key, we must be discipline in the party. We were a little careless in 2015. We created the opportunity for serpent to get into our party and that did not allow Nigeria to make the desired progress.

“You have seen the result of it and we are not going to allow that to happen again. We are going to respect our party and we are going to apply the whip.

“It is either you stay with us or you follow us or you leave. You have the freedom to choose but the freedom does not give you as a minority to go and collaborate and protrude our mandate given to you to another party who was our opposition and who is still our opposition.

“We would not take that this time, no matter who you think you are. That is how it is built. Why do you want to deviate from what has been structured?
“We look at our reward system equally, zone by zone,” he said.

Though APC is drumming support for senator Danjuma Goje and Femi Gbajabiamila who is Tinubu's man.
Decision which Borno state senator, Ali Ndume is strongly against, because he has his eye on the senate President's seat.

Mr Ndume's insistent to keep pushing for the senate president's seat due to his claim that he has a strong support base of most APC senators drove Tinubu to state categorically that, "it's either you abide by the party principles, or be kicked out."

[video] China releases a cartoon to mock US over it's accusations

China releases a bizarre Lego-like cartoon, mocking US COVID-19 response after the communist country has been criticized by the US president Donald Trump, for allegedly poor handling of the health crisis.  While China has reported no fatalities from the virus in the country over the past week, the white House has accused China of concealing vital data about the pandemic during it's initial stage, and therefore ordered an investigation into reports that COVID-19 had been caused by an accident at Wuhan institute of virology.  In a short video clip posted by China's official news agency Xinhua, the Chinese slammed the accusation against them, claiming that the US was inconsistent at various stages of the pandemic.
