Mr Jimi Agbaje, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos state, for the just concluded governorship election has debunked the rumor flying round, that he has dumped the PDP.
The news was confirmed by his spokesperson, Modupe Ogundayo.
Her word: "In the past 24 hours, Mr. Olujimi Agbaje, the governorship candidate of the PDP) in the recently-concluded 2019 election in Lagos state, has received uncountable calls and messages from numerous friends, teeming political associates within PDP and countless members of his supporters, that he has resigned from the PDP.
“It is another chunk from the ongoing propaganda and disinformation machinery of his foes. Agbaje urges all to treat the rumour with the disdain it wisely deserves,” she said.
Our take:
The best decision for Mr Agbaje, is to remain in his party. Because if there is anything contrary to this, he'll be seen as a political harlot.
He may also not get chances in the APC, because of Tinubu's dynasty.
