32 suspected internet fraudsters populary called Yahoo Yahoo, were yesterday, arrested by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in the ancient city of Abeokuta.
According to the EFCC, the suspects were arrested at Liberty Estate, Laderin area of Abeokuta, Ogun state.
EFCC further stated that it took them tough time to smoke the suspects out, because some of them hid themselves in some ridiculous places, some under chairs in the apartment where they were apprehended.
When asked what they do for a living, 14 of them claimed to be undergraduates, while 18 claimed to be self employed.
Items recovered from them includes, six exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones, fake documents and charms.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are conducted and concluded.
