Video: Policewoman ripped off her own clothes and lied that it was the filmmaker who assaulted her

Two days ago, actor Lanre Adediwura,  shared on his Instagram page, a video of how he was brutalized alongside his colleagues, one of them a pregnant woman, who was  bleeding profusely, because of the punch thrown at her by a policewoman.

Further findings indicated that after Adediwura shared the video on his IG page, police officers seen in the video background, quickly apprehended him and the bleeding pregnant woman, took them to Ejigbo margistrate  court 2, after Isheri, where  the judge adjourned the case, and ordered them to be remanded in police custody, until they process their case and be set free.

According to Rugged man, who posted the video on his Instagram page, he claimed that the policewoman who brutalized these people has been identified  as Omolara Sunday, from Alagolo police station, in Ayobo Lagos, opposite Igbogila Health Center.

He further claimed that the policewoman ripped off her own clothes and lied that it was the filmmaker who assaulted her.

He wrote;

Officer Omolara Sunday caught on video assaulting a pregnant woman. She is from rom Alagolo Police station, Ipaja ayobo, Lagos opposite beside Igbogila health centre Ayobo. This was in the car of filmmaker Lanre Adediwura @lanreadediwura .

Shortly after, the corrupt officer ripped her own uniform and lied that it was the filmmaker that assaulted her. While the video clearly shows her beating a pregnant Cecelia Adeniji.
To make the matters worse, officer Omolara Sunday and her colleagues framed Lanre and the pregnant Cecelia for assault, took them to Ejigbo Magistrate Court 2, after Isheri. Where the judge adjourned the case and ordered them to be remanded in police custody until the process their bail and be set free.

But officer Omolara Sunday defied court orders and illegally took Lanre and pregnant Cecelia who she assaulted and framed to Kirikiri maximum prison. Where they stayed for 24hours.

We want officer Omolara Sunday of Alagolo police station Ipaja Ayobo to face the wrath of the law for.

1. Lying to the court of law
2. Defying court orders
3. Unlawfully imprisoning an innocent Lanre and pregnant Cecelia.
We need the Nigerian police to show us they do not support the police brutality that is becoming rampant. We need to see these officers punished for their crimes.

Lies! This man died since 2012- LEDAP

News circulated last week about one Mr Olatunji Olaide, who was imprisoned for 24 years, for a crime he never committed, by the leader of the Joint Legal action Aids(JLAA), Kinsley Ughe. Well an NGO, Legal Defence And Assistance Project (LEDAP), has refuted the claim, revealing that Mr Olaide died in 2012, shortly after he was released, and that no one should make any cash donation on his behalf. They have these to say; Our attention has been drawn to the fraudulent reports circulating on social media platforms requesting for cash donations from the members of the public to assist Olatunji Olaide who spent twenty four years in prison for an offence he never committed. We were also notified that one Mr. Kingsley Ughe, the Chief Lawyer of Joint Legal Action Aid claimed to have represented Mr. Olatunji Olaide at the Court of Appeal on his conviction for murder. This information is a gross misrepresentation of facts. Late Olatunji Olaide was convicted by Honourable Justice A. O....

Naija2dcore Newspaper review of June 7

In our today's mainstream Nigeria newspaper review of Friday, June 7, we are going to focus on the suspension of AIT/Raypower, Emir Sanusi's misappropriation of N3.4b, Goje Lawal's endorsement, Battle of the Deputy Senate's seat and many more. PDP, NGE, Others bash FG, as NBC suspends AIT/Raypower.   In all honesty, every reasonable Nigerian should be worried that this is happening in a democracy. It is more like there is an attempt to shackle the media, from what we are seeing. Today it is AIT, tomorrow you don't know who will be next. I just also want to hope that the president is not aware of how this started, and that he will intervene. Perhaps this is just the action of an overzealous head of government agency. Somebody who is a journalist. For crying out loud, Lanre Modibo Kawu has spent a better part of his career as a broadcast journalist on radio, and also a columnist on so many news papers, before getting this appointment. And he used to be...
