Only criminals clamour to end SARS- Nigerian police officer

As the clamour to end the operations of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) unit, of the Nigeria police force heightens in Nigeria, due to extrajudicial killings perpetrated by majority of them in major cities across the 36 states of the federation, a Nigerian police officer identified as KingC Clear Odiase, is of opposite opinion.

According to Officer Odiase, he said that people who clamour to end the operations of SARS are "Criminals." Citing wide spread insecurity, and inability for people's wives and families to be properly protected, if by any means, the operations of SARS is scrapped in Nigeria.

“To protect my wife and family is not an issue, I am just having sympathy on others. Those who clamour to the authority to end SARS are criminals or criminally sponsored check them very well”, he wrote.
