Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, shared a video of a man, identified as Sam Nkem Nzekwe, who is begging to marry a 16-year old SS3 female student he raped.
He stated that the girl was asked by a neighbor, to help him buy some items. On returning from the errand, she met his neighbor and Ezenwa in his apartment.
As soon as the girl came back, the neighbor asked her to wait for him, while he rushes out to get something, leaving her and Ezenwa in the room.
Ezenwa noticing that he was left alone with the girl in the room, went and locked the door, increased the volume of the audio set, forced and raped the girl. She was later left with her stained pants.
She was advised by members of a Facebook group she belongs to, to report the matter to activist, Gwamnishu, after she asked for justice to be done in her case.
After investigation were carried out, the suspect was apprehended inside a private hospital yesterday, 10th April, and consequently handed over to the police.
On their way to the police station, the suspect was video taped begging to marry his victim.
