NAFDAC under the Federal government of Nigeria should as a matter of urgency, look into the "Connect" between teenagers and poisonous substance called "Sniper".
On Sunday in Ogun state, Nigeria, a boy who's identified as Shegun was reported to have taken poisonous substance, Sniper, in a bid to end his life, because he scored low in jamb. If not for the quick intervention of his mum and friends, who rushed him to the hospital where he was resuscitated, it would have turned out another sad story.
On Monday another case of suicide was reported in the Eastern part of Nigeria, where a boy wrote suicide note on his Facebook timeline before allegedly taking the same poisonous substance "Sniper", and he unfortunately died in the cause.
Yet a new report on our news desk, has it that a 17 year old boy, called Amos Ibrahim, took his life by drinking "Sniper", because he scored low in jamb.
Below is the story which led to his death.
