Nigerians jubilating as the news of the transfer of controversial police officer filtered the internet space

Nigerians in jubilant mode after it was reported that the controversial police officer, Abayomi Shogunle, who is known for his unguarded statements each time issues of national interest arises, has been redeployed to a remote village in far away Nkalagu in Ebonyi state.
According to the police spokesperson, Frank Mbah, “Yes he has been removed and redeployed to Ebonyi State as Area Commander of Nkalagu.”

Until his redeployment, Shogunle was the head of the Complaint Response Unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
