A foreigner identified as Suarez has been taken into police custody for mobilizing soldiers to beat up his female neighbor beyond recognition at No5 Falilat Shomade street, Lekki Home, Lagos.

Suarez brought in four soldiers to flog Diva mercilessly, because of a misunderstanding she's having with Suarez's wife. She was later whisked away, and warned her against reporting the incident, unless she gets shot.

Fortunately for her, neighbors who witnessed the inhumane act trailed her, rushed her to the hospital, and equally invited the police to meddle in the matter.

Suarez was later apprehended and taken to court on Thursday, and was remanded in prison until Diva fully recovers.
